• What is cellular respiration?
    • Cellular respiration is a series of chemical reactions that convert energy food molecules into a useable form of energy which is called ATP.
  • How is cellular respiration related to what you measured in the cricket lab?
    • Cellular respiration is related to what I have measured in the cricket lab because it is testing two different environments and the effects it has on the metabolic rate of the crickets. In the lab, it displayed whether the metabolic rate increased or decreased in the warm or cold baths. The result displayed the crickets metabolic rate would increase in a stimulated winter environment causing the crickets to intake more food, creating more energy to keep themselves warm when placed in a colder environment.
